Introducing… Time Attack at the 2021 4 & Rotary North Island Jamboree brought to you by ST Hitec.  3 classes, Street Class, Pro Street Class and Pro Open.  If you would like some extra track time, you can also pay extra to add the track day (17th April) for cruising and a few grip sessions to practice.

Price includes Competitor T-shirt, 1 vehicle and 1 driver only. A late fee of $30 will be applied to all entries as of 26 March 2021.  Time Attack will run along side the Battle of the Rookies NZ drifting.

STREET CLASS

  • Have a current Warrant of Fitness (WoF).
  • Display a current Registration (not on hold).
  • Be LVV Certified for any modifications as required for WoF.
  • Run on Road tyres with a treadwear rating of 180 or above.
  • Have operational headlights (lowbeam & highbeam).
  • Have both driver and passenger seats fitted safely.
  • Street cars with full roll-cages must be MSNZ homologated and present with an Authority Card.
  • Owner must drive the car and must not be driven by a professional.

PRO STREET CLASS

  • Have a current Warrant of Fitness (WoF).
  • Display a current Registration (not on hold).
  • Run road or semi slick tyres. Pro Street cars may run on any tyres eligible for Street class or on tyres with a treadwear rating of 180 or below.
  • Street cars with full roll-cages must be MSNZ homologated and present with an Authority Card.
  • Owner must drive the car and must not be driven by a professional.

PRO OPEN CLASS (Exhibition)

Pro Open class is for race cars on semi-slick tyres.


SAFETY EQUIPMENT

  • Overalls – Single or multi-layer. Minimum requirement – Cotton
  • Underwear – Minimum requirement – Cotton.  Garments to be worn between the overall and the wearer’s body entirely covering the wearer except for the head, hands and feet.
  • Shoes – Minimum requirement – Leather
  • Helmet – Comply with current standards, fit correctly, be free of cracks/damage and is not incorrectly modified
  • Frontal Head Restraints (FHR) are not mandatory for cars without safety cages
